I like the video lessons a lot. They are small capsules very specific to a particular topic or concept. Not just the full-length mocks, even the topic-wise or sectional practice exercises are computer adaptive—this is very much needed for GMAT preparation. I can go back to a particular video concept lesson and review it based on where I am going wrong in the practice exercises. This is brilliant!

This GMAT course gives more than one can expect. The flow of lessons was smooth and clear. I got a personalised study plan from Raghavender sir and that set the track for everything! I did not expect the follow-up calls and emails about my preparation progress…it really proved that score99percentile will handhold.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who conducts the GMAT® Exam?

Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). The official website being www.gmac.com/

What is the official website of the GMAT® Exam?

www.mba.com

How does the GMAT® Exam work?

GMAT® is a Computer Adaptive Test which indicates that the test adapts itself to the correctness / incorrectness of your responses. The first few questions in the Verbal and the Quantitative sections are of moderate difficulty. With correct responses, the level of difficulty increases, and conversely, with incorrect responses the level of difficulty decreases. The score does not depend only on the number of correct and incorrect answers. It also depends on the difficulty level of the questions encountered. The weightage for tougher questions is more than that for easier questions. The test is administered on the computer and the questions have to be tackled in the order in which they appear; you cannot skip a question. Neither can you revert to an earlier question to change the answer. The final score will be in multiples of 10. It is essential that all questions are completed as there is a heavy penalty for the questions not attempted. These factors make time management very critical in GMAT® .

Is there partial marking/credit?

There is No partial marking/credit across all sections. In the Integrated Reasoning section, a student must answer all sub-parts correct to get credit for a question.

Is there negative marking?

There is No explicit negative marking. But, the adaptive algorithm takes into account your performance on the previous questions.

When do I get my score?

Unofficial score for the Verbal & Quantitative sections – Immediately after you complete the test.
Official score including AW score – about 2 weeks after your test date.

How do I report my score?

You can send your official scores to 5 programs on the GMAT test date prior to the start of the exam. For additional score reporting, you will need to pay an additional fee per score recipient and send scores online from your login.

What is official score reporting?

Sending your GMAT score to universities/programs you want to apply to through GMAC, which conducts the GMAT exam.

Can I cancel my score?

Yes, you can. After you see your score online after you finish the exam, you will have a couple of minutes to decide whether you want to cancel your scores.

What does "average/median GMAT score" mean?

On university admissions pages, it means that students who got admission offers in the previous intake secured scores which hovered around that number – some higher than the average/median and some lower than the average/median.
